Securit (tempered) glass in Egypt
Tempered safety glass for hospital and corporate façades, doors and partitions. Securit glass is about 4 to 5 times stronger than annealed glass and breaks into small, blunt pieces.

Frequently asked questions
What does “securit” glass mean?
In the Egyptian market “securit” (سيكوريت) means tempered, or heat-strengthened safety glass: it is heated and rapidly cooled so it is much stronger than ordinary glass.
Can tempered glass be cut after toughening?
No. Tempered glass must be cut, drilled and edged to size before toughening, so dimensions are confirmed before production.
