Vinyl flooring for hospitals, pharma and laboratories
Seamless, hygienic floors for the busiest corridors, wards, theatres and clean zones. We supply and install homogeneous, heterogeneous and LVT vinyl across Egypt.
Sheet vinyl is heat-welded so seams are sealed against liquids and bacteria, and coved up the wall where the specification calls for it.

Thickness guide
| Product | Thickness | Wear class | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Homogeneous sheet | 2.0 mm | Group T | Wards, clinics and corridors with regular foot traffic |
| Homogeneous sheet | 3.0 mm | Group T | Heavy traffic, trolleys, theatres and laboratories |
| LVT light duty | 0.3 mm wear layer | Group P | Light commercial: offices and restrooms |
| LVT standard | 0.5 mm wear layer | Group T | Retail, education, corporate and hospitality |
| LVT heavy duty | 0.7 mm wear layer | Group T | Rolling loads, heavy equipment, high traffic |
Typical values for guidance. Final specification is confirmed per project.
Pharma grade vs standard grade
| Feature | Pharma grade | Standard grade |
|---|---|---|
| Static control | Static dissipative, safe around electronics and solvents | Not designed for static control |
| Surface treatment | Antibacterial and fungicidal PUR finish | Standard PUR finish, no added biocide |
| Seams | Heat-welded: watertight and sealed against bacteria | Welded or butt-jointed |
| Resistance | High: disinfectants and lab reagents | Moderate: routine cleaning |
| Typical areas | Pharma, clean zones, labs, theatres, ICU | Wards, corridors, classrooms, offices |

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between homogeneous and heterogeneous vinyl?
Homogeneous vinyl has one composition through its full depth, so the pattern cannot wear off and it is the usual choice for operating theatres, ICU and pharma. Heterogeneous vinyl is layered with a printed decor film under a clear wear layer, which allows richer patterns for wards and public areas.
Which thickness should I choose for a hospital corridor?
2.0 mm homogeneous is typical for regular foot traffic. Choose 3.0 mm where trolleys, beds and heavy equipment run constantly, such as theatres and laboratories.
Is anti-static vinyl necessary?
It is recommended wherever electronics, instruments or flammable solvents are present, for example pharma zones, laboratories and server or instrument rooms.
Can you supply and install, or supply only?
Both. Most projects are supplied and installed by our crews so that one team is responsible for the finished floor.
